The program simulates 3-D flightising matrix transforms ( with integer math.) 444 matrix repre- senting the spaceship's currentition and direction i computed, and the stars' positicars stored as vec- tors. The matrix is multiplied beach of the vectors to compute the stars' apparent pions relative to the ship. The stars are plotted using "gnomonic" ( or "perspective") projection. The database of stars was compild from the follow- ing sources;Byte magazine (Jul985, p. 107); The Peterson Field Guide to the Stard Planets; Gliese' Catalog of Nearby Stars; and thale Bright Star Catalog.
